We are searching for the perfect Epona.  Link's mighty and brave crimson horse.

 

We need both a foal and adult version of the horse.

 

ADULT VERSION:

As an adult, our Epona will be required to bear the weight of one man for some scenes, and for some, the horse must bear the weight of two people plus their costumes.

 

Our actors interact with the horse via petting its mane, face, and riding on its back.  The adult walks, trots, and gallops in our film.  

 

FOAL VERSION:

As a young foal, our Epona will be required only to stand in place and allow our Young Link and Young Malon to stand alongside and to pet its face and mane.

 

If the foal can be ridden bareback, that is a plus.

 

APPEARANCE: As pictured on the left.  If the horse/foal is a close match, we would ask if said horse could be painted (with appropriate non-toxic supplies) to match Epona or at least match the corresponding live version.  If the horse cannot be painted, and is still a close match, we will still consider using the horse.
