WILLIAM SCARBOROUGH

as Young Wise Man

A video game loving (addicted) student at Ohio State, William has participated in numerous productions in the Dayton, Ohio area. Some of his most recent credits include roles in the Dayton Playhouse productions of Grease and The Fantasticks. For the latter, he received a Daytony Award of Merit for Performance in a Supporting Role. On screen, he was most recently seen in the Funhouse Massacre, playing the all-too-fitting "Skinny Guy." He is very excited about Legacy and can't wait to start shooting!

"The road to finding the perfect person for this role was long and I thought unending, until William. The Young Wise Man role was the only role available for the 20s range men, and everyone and their father was sending us material, even those that didn't even fit the requested look, because every guy out there wanted to be part of a Zelda movie. For a long time I thought I was going to have to settle on someone "not quite, but just enough" for this part, but when William sent in an audition tape, I was ecstatic. Not only did he fit everything I wanted, look, accent, etc, but his chosen monologue was Ganondorf's from WindWaker, a very sad monologue. Then his "why you want to be involved video" was just perfect, and it let me get to know him for who he was. I was excited to meet this person, and after a few more specific readings, I gave him the part, and gladly."
