CONNIE PFEIFFER

as Impa

Connie has been performing since she was a small child, singing, dancing, acting, you name it.  Most of her recent work has been through her church and at the Ohio Renaissance Festival.  She portrayed Joanne Worley (from the 60's show "Laugh-In") during the summer of 2002 and has acted as Gloria Finkenhoeffer (an eccentric mom) since 2008. During ORF’s 2010 season, she played Lady Agnes Grace Porpington Linden (the Lord Mayor's mother--lovingly referred to as "Lady Mum" by the village).  In 2011, she was “anointed” Queen Elizabeth and has played the part since.

When not performing, Connie works as a fitness instructor, something she’s done for 20 years.  She’s also traveled to Africa 3 times so far, supporting an orphanage and community health clinic in Swaziland.  Since the cast of “Legacy” visited the ORF grounds last season, she has been a friend and supporter of the team and is delighted to become part of the magic.

"I met Connie when she was the queen at my first Ren Fest. A year later I took my three leading Zelda cast to Ren Fest in costume, and she and the ORF cast and my cast had some fun banter. She had the look of a proud woman, which is what I wanted in Impa. Connie was hand-selected, and I'm excited she accepted. I didn't meet the real Connie until late May 2016, and I am amazed every day that such a woman crashed into my life. She's an inspiration to me."
