RODERICK RAFF

as Darunia

Roderick Raff, known as Rod to his friends, grew up traveling the world because his parents were both military, enabling him the chance to see a lot of Europe in early life. As if following in their footsteps, he was in the AirForce for 6.5 years as a cop and has since retired. He did much acting in college at Hocking College and Ohio University of Chillicothe, ranging from The Gingerbread Lady, to Rumours, and to Anna in the Tropics.

He has a deep love of entertaining people. He also enjoys tinkering with electronics, creating artwork, metal work, wood work, and fencing. He's always had a love for Zelda, especially A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, and he's very excited to be working on a Zelda fan film with the caliber of Legacy and can't wait to begin the process of becoming a goron through prosthetics.

"Rod and I go all the way back to college. We met in 2008 or '9 I think, my sophomore year. We worked on this gaming project together in a group, the same year and project I met Kyle, our lead, on. Rod has had my back for all things geek and otherwise since then. When I decided to do a Zelda film, he was the first to support me. I've wanted to see a real life goron since I was a kid, and when it was clear we could attempt such a thing, I had him in mind for it because of his build and his voice. It was just a waiting game for him to get out of the military. Now he's back and ready to kick ass with rock hard abs!"
